Children aged between 5 and 15

Between the ages of 5 and 15 inclusive, children receive a 50% discount on most tickets. This is automatically applied when a child’s fare is selected. If the child looks over the age of 16, it may be appropriate for proof of age to be carried when travelling to avoid embarrassment.

There is also a Family Railcard available which may make your journey cheaper. See above to find out more.
