The capital city of Wales really does have a long list of things to see and do. It is classed as the largest media centre in the UK outside of London with Cardiff Bay now home to the new BBC Wales studios. Keep your eyes peeled as you might see someone famous during your time in the city.

Doctor Who enthusiasts will want to visit the Doctor Who Experience. Since opening, fans have traveled far and wide to get up and close to their favourite TV programme. From props, artifacts to special effects it will have any fan in a spin.

The Millennium Stadium, built in 1999 to host the Rugby World Cup is home to the Wales national rugby and football teams. It really is a spectacular sporting venue and one, which dominates the Cardiff skyline.

For those looking for a little more history, Cardiff has historic houses and castles to see. Cardiff Castle, Castell Caerdydd has a full packed programme of events throughout the year to keep the whole family entertained.

Cardiff will surprise you with all it has to offer. A day just won’t be long enough.
